The citizens of Tillamook County believe that quality jobs are more than just adequate compensation. Quality jobs offer a positive, healthy and safe work environment that leads to a higher level of job satisfaction. As a county that cherishes historic values and traditions, Tillamook County residents look forward to the development of an economy that complements and builds upon industries that have been a part of the landscape for over 100 years.
In addition to maintaining the traditional economic base, citizens will seek to diversify the Tillamook County economy by attracting new industries, encouraging development of locally owned businesses and further expanding the tourist industry. In order for a strong and diverse economy to develop, a wide variety of coordinated actions are necessary.
