All residents will have access to and be able to afford healthcare services in Tillamook County. An abundance of support for all populations to meet their basic needs will be readily available. Awareness education of underrepresented populations’ needs will take place throughout the county. Residents will lead a lifestyle that includes healthy activities and behavior.

Vision of our Health and Human Services

All Tillamook County residents will have access to affordable healthcare. Local healthcare providers will have the capacity to provide quality healthcare.

Tillamook County will provide resources to meet the basic needs of all populations. Education programs and outreach will engage the community to assist those less fortunate. Underrepresented populations will be sought out to ensure they have the services, resources and support needed for a healthy life.

In the future, underage drinking will no longer be an issue among our youth. Adult drug use, especially methamphetamine use, will be significantly reduced with local resources, services and support available to assist people in recovery. Healthy alternatives to drug and alcohol related activities will abound. Youth and adults will be actively engaged in addressing drug and alcohol issues in the county. People will be aware of and support the array of effective services and supports available to address drug and alcohol issues for both youth and adults. Youth will be educated about the consequences of teen pregnancy and tobacco use.
