2013 Strategic Vision Award Nominations Now Being Accepted
The Tillamook County Futures Council
is now accepting nominations for the 2013 Strategic Vision Awards. If you would like to nominate an individual (or organization) who has gone above and beyond for the benefit of one or more communities in Tillamook County, please click here to download a copy of the nomination form. Nominations will be accepted through August 15th, 2013.
The annual awards banquet to recognize nominees and announce the winners in each category will be held this year on October 8th at the Officer's Mess in Tillamook.

Ocean Energy Planning Public Meeting & Workshop

The Tillamook County Futures Council
is sponsoring a public meeting and workshop to collect public comment on the ongoing process to amend Oregon's Territorial Sea Plan. Participants will have opportunity to review the sites that have been identified as potentially suitable locations for ocean energy devices off the coast of Tillamook County. The agenda includes presentations by members of the Territorial Sea Plan Advisory Committee, Oregon Wave Energy Trust, and Ocean Policy Advisory Council amongst others.
The entire event will be video taped by Jane Scott Video Productions and will be available online at www.janescottvideoproductions.com. If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to weigh in, public comment is being accepted via email at tsp.comments@state.or.us.

The Tillamook County Futures Council
The Tillamook County Futures Council
was established in 1997 as an
advisory council to the Board of County Commissioners. The Council developed a long range Strategic Vision for Tillamook
County in collaboration with civic groups and agencies that is based on citizen input. Today the Futures Council serves as steward of the
vision and the ongoing county-wide visioning process.
Here you will find information on project history, current activities and the people who are working to achieve Tillamook County's vision for the future.

Our 20-minute presentation covers the strategic vision and shares the results of the 2008 assessment work completed in partnership with Oregon State University.

Partner for Vital Tillamook Indicators Project On August 19, 2008, the Tillamook County Futures Council (TCFC)
and Oregon State University (OSU) entered into a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) to work together on the Vital Tillamook
Indicators Project. This project is a partnership between the two
