The Tillamook County Futures Council
was established in 1997 by the Board of County Commissioners as an
advisory council. The original purpose of the Council was to
develop a citizen-based, long-range Strategic Vision for Tillamook
County. Today the Futures Council serves as stewards of the
Vision and the on-going countywide visioning process.
Mission of the Tillamook County Futures Council
The Mission of the Tillamook County Futures Council is to serve as stewards of
Tillamook County's Vision and its on-going county wide visioning process.
With this, we'll provide the public with backgrounds on project history, people involved, and current activities.

The Tillamook County Futures Council is seeking nominations for 2008 Strategic Vision Awards
Do you know an individual and/or organization with a project and/or ongoing activity which
addresses one ore more of these Vision Goals? If so, fill out our downloadable
2008 Nomination Form* and mail it back to us to get that deserving person or organization recognized.
