TILLAMOOK COUNTY FUTURES COUNCIL HOSTS
STAKEHOLDER MEETINGS TO REVIEW COUNTY VISION

TILLAMOOK COUNTY, Oregon. (2007) – The Tillamook County Futures Council is beginning the process of updating the Strategic Vision for Tillamook County. The Tillamook County Strategic Vision, originally developed in 1997, provides a 20-year framework for Tillamook County that addresses such issues as growth and development, economy, natural resources, and society and culture. Life in Tillamook County has changed significantly since its citizens developed the County Vision. It is time to update that Vision, to look ahead, identifying trends and their potential impact on our community.

The Tillamook County Futures Council is embarking on the journey of revisiting the County’s Vision. You are invited to contribute to this process. The Council is hosting two meetings among community leaders and stakeholders. Your assistance in helping us identify key opportunities and challenges facing Tillamook County in the next 20 years is invaluable.

The Futures Council, with assistance from the University of Oregon’s Community Planning Workshop, will host meetings at the following locations and dates:

	WHAT:  Central Tillamook County Strategic Visioning Meeting WHERE:  Tillamook Main Branch Library, 210 Ivy, Tillamook WHEN:  Tuesday, January 30th, 2007, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
	WHAT:  North Tillamook County Strategic Visioning Meeting WHERE:  Rockaway Beach City Hall, 142 Hwy 101 S., Rockaway WHEN:  Wednesday, January 31st, 2007, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
